We would like to congratulate Gawad Kalinga, an organization dedicated to poverty alleviation and nation building, for hosting a successful tournament last April 29 at the Iloilo Golf and Country Club!

The tournament, now in its 10th year, is an initiative of GK Iloilo and has become a significant event for the organization's fundraising efforts. Since its inception in 2011, the tournament has brought together golfers from different parts of the country and the world to support Gawad Kalinga's mission to provide land for the landless, food for the hungry, and a home for the homeless. 

We are honored to contribute in this mission by supporting Gawad Kalinga as a hole-in-one sponsor. 

"The turnout was fantastic, with 120 players from Iloilo, Bacolod, Manila, Davao, and even some who flew in from abroad. The funds raised at the tournament will go towards building 6-8 homes for those in need, adding to the 72 homes already built by Gawad Kalinga," said the tournament organizers.

Every golfer who was present could tell you how heartwarming it was to see the big smiles and happy spirits of the GK's beneficiaries through their dance presentation. We were all extremely touched to see the impact of Gawad Kalinga's efforts as it serves as a reminder that the organization's work goes a long way and is essential in transforming the lives of Filipino families.

This Gawad Kalinga annual tournament has become a platform for golfers to use their passion for the sport to give back to those in need. We hope that this tournament and other initiatives like it will continue to inspire people to use their passions and skills to make a difference in the world.
